Cricket Cricket origin early?

Nobody knows when and where cricket began but there are a number of indications, largely circumstantial, strongly suggests that the game was developed during Saxon or Norman times children living in the Weald, an area of dense forests and clear in southeast England is in Kent and Sussex. In medieval times the Weald was populated by farming communities and metalwork. It is generally accepted that cricket survived as a game children for many centuries before it is increasingly being taken by adults in the early 17th century.
