What does "Strike Zone" means the bottom of my Dell laptop?
"Strike Zone" is engraved on the bottom right next to a large rubber pad on the left. It is just below the area where the PC card slot. This is a Latitude D610.
A sort of excuse for Shock Protection HD buffer. It's basically a rubber bumper and mounting the unit to eliminate potential damage to the shock drop or hit second HD.
