How do I get rid of these presets in my photoshop templates?
I was playing around in CS5 and for some reason now whenever I make a new document the layers now have default vector masks and embossing on them. I deselect them but this is a real hassle- any suggestions to put settings back to default- (without reinstalling?)
Try resetting the Photoshop preferences by restarting Photoshop whilst holding down Shift Option Command (mac) or Shift Alt Control (pc). This resets all user applied settings such as workspace and tool presets and should also fix the layer settings without reinstalling.
