Do not ever do traditional scrapbooking?
Like yesterday, I had my first child pages for Christmas and was the first color Purple Paisley dark blue and white dots on mats and some borders. I did not want to use Christmas paper, I was attracted by a strange mixture of correspondence of the offer. This happens a lot. Sometimes my husband looks confused. lol Does it really matter if you use strange colors mixed paper-bound? I think if it sounds good to me, I love and I do. Scrapbooking is the art and the art has no rules.
In fact, scrapbooking has become a new form of the last decade or two. When I was a child, scrapbooking is to bring together all and all (as you said, weird colors, etc) was like a collage, just for fun! It has become so mechanical and now lost his first touch. So basically, I agree with you and say that the new substance is not traditional, and if you really see the past scrapbook for example, 20 years ago, then the traditional way is very loose and with a mix of everything, everything that excites you.
