Who has an Omnipod insulin pump?

I was wanting to see if anyone is using an Omnipod insulin pump and how they like it and how long they have been using one? I wanted to know also, when it is time to refill the pod, do you just refill the old pod with insulin or do you replace it with a new one every time? And is it more expensive then a regular insulin pump? I have done some research and read that the resevoir holds about 3 days insulin. Thats why I wanted to know when it is empty do you replace the whole thing, or just fill it up and put new adhesive on the back? Thanks for any help and info!

i don’t personally own one, but i have done a lot of research on it. you have to change the pod every 3 days. not the insulin, you have to cange the whole pod. In the long run it is more expensive than a regular pump. Each pod is 30 dollars. that makes it 300 dollars a month. The controller is about a hundred. But it does have the advantage of being tube-less and is actually waterproof. it is also a lot more discreet.
so id say if you dont have loads of cash to dish out, id stick with a normal pump
