How I can fix scratches on a vintage bike?

I just got a vintage Schwinn bike with a lot of scratches on it. The bike has its original paint on it and do not want to remove. The bike is white. Is there a way to fix the scratches?

It is almost impossible without ends with a terrible looking bike. Schwinn paint, especially white color tends to change with age, either because transparent layer or because the UV rays that affect it. If clearcoat has yellowed, no amount of scratch test is mixed in. So many options: 1) have the bike painted by a painter on bicycles. A couple out there, but be prepared to spend to make it very salty. They will present a new initial claim or reproduction decals and 2) Take photos bike, then to correct and take the stickers removed in a body shop. Make the same color and apply the decals according to photographs it took then apply a clear coat all. This is about a quarter of the price of a bicycle do restorer, but the results can not perfect. Note that the chain guard Schwinn has been the screen are not printed, decals, but are accepted as a successful restore, but not a "100" pointer, 3) Take the time to paint part of oneself. This would be the option if you want to spend much money, and could still achieve a good research but not ready to lead by example. Probably would cost almost as much as if a car shop would do, but you would have the satisfaction of learning bike and how to care for her.
